Courses & Education for movement teachers

Welcome

I’m so glad you’re here.

My work sits at the intersection of yoga, mental health, and trauma-informed education. With over 15 years of experience holding space for others, I offer grounded, inclusive, and student-centred support — where choice, agency and self-awareness are always prioritised.

Everything I share is guided by the belief that movement and rest should feel safe, accessible, and supportive for every body.

Thankyou for being here.

You might be feeling…

Unsure how to use language that’s inclusive, spacious, and trauma-aware — without overthinking every word.

That you want to create safer, more supportive spaces, but aren’t sure where to begin.

A little overwhelmed by all the information out there, or afraid of “getting it wrong.”

That you’re craving deeper connection — with your students, and your own teaching.

You’ve looked at our course but they feel too rigid, unapproachable and heavy with jargon, leaving you unsure how to actually bring what you learned into your teaching.

You often say “that everyone can practice yoga” but you're unsure how to embody that in your classes

If any of this sounds familiar, your not doing anything wrong, you just haven’t been given the tools (yet) to make your classes safer and more inclusive.

You walk into your class knowing your words will land with care. You cue from a place of confidence, not overthinking.

Your students feel seen, supported, and invited — not pressured or corrected.

You’re teaching with language that promotes agency, safety, and self-awareness. And you can feel the shift in the room: more ease, more choice, more connection.

Your classes reflect the kind of space you always dreamed of offering — one where everybody feels welcome and everyone can practice yoga. And you know exactly how to hold that space with integrity and clarity.

Now imagine this…

Evolve Together

The Power of Language in Movement Spaces: From Directing to Inviting

A 60-minute self-paced online workshop designed to help movement teachers shift the way they communicate — from instruction to invitation.

This isn’t about reworking your whole teaching style or plans.
It’s about weaving in small, meaningful language shifts that transform your class into a more inclusive, supportive, and trauma-aware space.

You’ll learn how to cue in ways that build safety, promote autonomy, and support a wider range of bodies and experiences — all through the power of your words.

This is a space for reflection and practical ideas — with real-world examples you can adapt in a way that feels right for you.

About Andrea

You’re learning from someone who’s worked for over 15 years in mental health and trauma support — not just in studios, but across community sectors, crisis spaces, and support services.

My lens is shaped by both personal and professional experience — which means I know how language lands when it’s helpful… and when it’s not.

You don’t need to be a therapist to teach inclusively. You just need to be thoughtful. I want to learn, grow and evolve, and create a space that is for your student to feel safe and seen.

I break it down in a way that’s simple, supportive, and totally doable. This space isn’t about calling teachers out. It’s about calling us all in — with curiosity, compassion, and cues that actually land - because I use them every single time I teach.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. This workshop is for all movement and yoga teachers — whether you’re newly qualified, returning after a break, or have years of experience. If you care about creating safer more inclusive classes, you’re welcome here.

  • This is a pre-recorded 60-minute workshop you can watch in your own time. You’ll have 90 days of access, so there’s no rush — revisit as often as you like.

  • This isn’t a full trauma-informed yoga training — those are often in-depth, multi-layered offerings that explore a wide range of topics.

However, this workshop is absolutely grounded in trauma-aware and inclusive teaching principles, especially through the lens of language. You’ll walk away with practical, accessible tools to support safer, more student-centred classes, no matter what kind of movement you teach.

  • The truth is, you won’t always know who in your class has experienced trauma — and trauma can show up in many ways.

This workshop isn’t a full trauma-informed certification, so if you’re planning to work specifically with people who identify as living with trauma (for example, offering classes for trauma survivors), that requires deeper knowledge, specific skills, and ongoing education.

What this workshop does offer is a strong foundation in language and principles that support choice, agency, and you’ll walk away with more awareness and practical tools — and it may even spark your next steps in trauma-informed learning.

If you’re looking to go deeper into trauma-informed education, I’ll be sharing more offerings and recommendations soon and will be communicated  via my mailing list & socials.

  • It’s very likely! This isn’t about giving you a “correct script” — it’s about offering reflection, deeper understanding, and new ways of seeing the power of your language. Even if some cues feel familiar, the way we explore them might spark fresh insight or offer new context.

  • Currently, this workshop does not include formal accreditation. However, you’ll receive a downloadable workbook and a certificate upon completion.

  • You’ll receive an email with your login details and a link to access the workshop + resources. You can start right away or come back when it suits you — it’s self-paced and fully yours for 90 days. If you have any issues, please email hello@andreabruceyoga.com.au

  • Refunds aren’t available. I’ve done my best to give you a clear idea of what’s included so you can make an informed decision. If you have any questions before purchasing, feel free to email me hello@andreabruceyoga.com.au
