Make it stand out
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business.
Build it
Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
Restorative yoga is more than stillness and shapes — it’s the art of creating spaces where rest feels safe, supportive, and accessible.
In this 25-hour training, we will explore the foundations of trauma-aware teaching, with a focus on language, inclusion, and the subtle practices that allow the whole body to safely rest. Together we’ll weave practical tools, embodied learning, and reflective discussions so you can confidently guide restorative practices that honour choice, agency, and the diverse needs of students.
We’ll explore restorative yoga shapes, how to sequence in a way that feels supportive to your students, and how to access restorative shapes when props are not always available. You’ll also learn how to weave trauma-aware language into your teaching — and why it matters. The way we cue has the power to create safety, predictability, and reduce pressure, so students can soften into rest with a greater sense of trust in themselves and the space.
This training is designed for yoga teachers and space-holders who want to deepen their understanding of restorative yoga and cultivate spaces where students can feel grounded, welcomed, and held.
